Xperia Z tablet confirmed by NTT Docomo

Xperia Z tablet will be the new tablet by Sony. Sony had recently launched the Sony xperia Z smartphone, Sony H200 and more products during CES 2013. Latest rumors say that Japanese manufacturer, Sony will be launching xperia Z tablet this year with pretty decent configurations as per current standards for a flagship device.

Now, NTT DoCoMo, the Japanese network provider, has confirmed the arrival of latest xperia Z slate very soon. In fact it will be unveiled next week.

As per NTT DoCoMo, Sony will be showing off its new Xperia members from 23rd to 27th of this month. However, there will be a special event on 22nd January to showcase Sony xperia Z and possibly xperia Z tablet. This event will be telecasted live through Ustream. This is the date when NTT DoCoMo will be showcasing its new products for spring 2013. It was expected that Xperia Z tablet will be debuted at Mobile World Congress (MWC) which will be held next month, but we will get to know about the slate next week itself.

Leaked specifications of the Xperia Z tab say that it will be coming with 10.1inch 1080p full HD display. Further, it will feature a 1.5 GHz quad core processor with whooping 2GB of RAM. It will be powered by a 6 Ah battery just like Google Nexus 10. Connectivity options on this slate will include Wi-Fi, both Bluetooth and NFC. These specs look quite promising and make Xperia Z tablet outstanding but unfortunately, none of these specs has been confirmed by Sony.

The Sony xperia S tablet was also released following the footsteps of Xperia S smartphone. So, we can soon expect to see the xperia Z tablet this year.
