Back in January, when Nokia was busy announcing their smartphones Lumia 820 and 920, we came to know that they are planning for low priced Lumia phones. Now, these smartphones were officially launched in MWC 2013. The new Nokia Lumia 720 is also windows smartphone which follows the same design and aesthetics as that of other members of the Lumia series.

- The dimensions of this cellphone are 127.9 x 67.5 x 7.8 mm and weighs only 129 grams.
- This cellphone is powered by 1 GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8227 processor.
- This processor is accompanied by Adreno 305 graphics processor so that you can experience crystal clear display.
- It will run on Microsoft Windows 8 for smartphones.

- It is not able to play JAVA apps neither it has radio.

- The primary camera is of 6.7 megapixels which boasts carl Zeiss optics and comes with LED flash and auto-focus.
- This camera can take images of resolution 2848 x 2144 pixels and record 720p HD videos.
- It also has a front facing camera of 1.3 megapixels which is also capable of recording 720p videos.

- The internal memory is of 8 GB along with 512 MB of RAM.
- It is expandable further through micro SD card slot up to maximum of 64 GB.

- The battery is of 2000 mAh which is non-removable type.
- You may expect to get stand-by time of 520 hours on 3G networks.
- The expected talk-time on 2G networks is 23 hours and 13 hours on 3G networks.
- This smartphone also comes with music play back time of whopping 79 hours, so it can be good choice for music lovers!
- Available in three colors: Red, blue, cyan, black and white.
Nokia Lumia 720 price in India, US:
Lumia 720 was announced in MWC 2013 so it is not yet available in the imdian market. However, the UK store, CLOVE, has listed the price of this smartphone as 249 pounds, which is approximately 20,000 INR and $400, inclusive of taxes. They have mentioned that it will be available on 1st of April.
The Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 620 can also be a good alternative which also comes with dual core processor and has all the features as that of Lumia 720.
